Lains was made with one idea in mind: that everyone, whatever their age, deserves somewhere to slow down, catch up, and feel at home. Not a rush-and-go coffee stop. Not a place where the music's too loud or the chairs too small for comfort. Somewhere relaxed. Somewhere proper. Somewhere with good coffee, better cake, and a seat you can sink into for as long as you fancy.

Whether you're a parent grabbing five minutes' peace, a group of friends settling in for the morning, a toddler on a milkshake mission, or someone who just likes the same corner table on a Tuesday - there's room for you here.

Alongside the day-to-day, we run children's workshops and host birthday parties throughout the year, because some of the best memories happen over cake.
